These general terms and conditions (CGU) govern the access and use of the Seadex platform (seadex.ai), operated by Sinay SAS, a French Société par Actions Simplifiée registered in La Rochelle. By accessing or using Seadex, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.
By accessing Seadex, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally accept these terms. If you do not agree with any provision, you must immediately cease using the platform.
Seadex provides maritime intelligence data including shipping carrier comparisons, port performance analytics, vessel tracking, sustainability metrics, and industry rankings. Data is sourced from public databases, proprietary datasets, and third-party providers.
All data is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, data may contain errors, be incomplete, or become outdated. Seadex does not constitute professional maritime advice.
You agree to use Seadex exclusively for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. Any use that could damage, disable, or impair the platform is strictly prohibited.
Specifically prohibited: automated scraping, crawling, or data extraction (except standard search engine indexing); reproduction, redistribution, or resale of Seadex data without prior written authorization; reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to access source code; creating derivative products based on Seadex data; sharing account credentials with unauthorized third parties.
All content on Seadex — including but not limited to text, data, rankings, visualizations, analyses, software, logos, and trademarks — is the exclusive property of Sinay SAS or its licensors, protected under French and international intellectual property law (CPI L.111-1 et seq.). No license or right is granted beyond the right to consult the platform for personal, non-commercial use.
Seadex data is provided 'as is' without any warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Sinay SAS shall not be held liable for: decisions made based on Seadex data; financial losses, missed opportunities, or damages arising from the use of or inability to use the platform; any interruption, suspension, or termination of service; data provided by third-party sources.
Seadex is provided on a best-effort basis. Sinay SAS does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance windows, updates, or unforeseen technical issues may temporarily affect availability. Sinay SAS will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned interruptions.
Sinay SAS reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to Seadex at any time, without notice, in case of violation of these terms or for any legitimate reason. Users may cease using Seadex at any time.
These terms are governed exclusively by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first attempt amicable resolution. Failing that, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts of La Rochelle, France, notwithstanding any conflicting jurisdiction clause.
